Livermore Architecture and Engineering Unveils New Brand Identity as Gridwork AE, Inc.
Portland, OR — January 12, 2026 — Livermore Architecture and Engineering, a Portland-based architecture and structural engineering firm, today announced that it has changed its company name to Gridwork AE, Inc., effective January 1st, and has implemented a leadership transition to support the firm’s next phase of growth.
The new name, Gridwork AE, reflects the firm’s evolving identity and its integrated, collaborative approach to architecture and engineering. The rebrand aligns with the company’s vision for the future while maintaining its strong technical foundation and commitment to thoughtful design solutions. Livermore worked with Vancouver, WA-based creative agency, shop, on the firm’s new brand strategy, name change, and visual language.
In conjunction with the name change, Geoff Grummon-Beale has assumed the role of Principal. He succeeds Gary Livermore, the founder of Livermore Architecture & Engineering, who is retiring. Mira Vorobets will be leading the structural engineering department.

The leadership change and rebrand do not affect the firm’s staff or ongoing projects. All client relationships, contracts, and operations will continue without interruption.
As part of the transition, Gridwork AE will roll out updated branding across its website, marketing materials, and project documentation. The firm’s Portland location and core services remain unchanged.
